  • CORRECTION: Hey all, on the QNED info, LG has clarified up to about 30,000 LEDs and up to about 2500 local dimming zones for significantly improved brightness and contrast. Also, the Magic Remote IS still a motion remote. Thanks for watching!

    • @Rasul Avtorhanov Yep, mostly other things that would carry you to upgrade, like VRR or HDMI2.1... you got the same bells and whistles hence HDR and SDR and overall picture quality as fx new 2020 X-panels... I even recall it's the same speaker-repair parts that are being used. and the same 2speaker and 2 woofers LGs std Atmos valid setup) that are on the B and C line over the years since 2017 and its other things that vary to a certain degree' like the base stand and fx LGs stiletto stand...but the new G panel and higher brightness, and something that will likely become the OLED norm the coming years.. are likely gonna change that picture.

    • @Jakob So you want to tell me that my C7 has USB 3 and is still good when it comes to peak brightness? Makes me even happier I still have it 😄🤙🏼

    • Last big nits-bump was 2016 to 2017.. the 2017 year where all LG's OLEDs was same SoC, from low to wallpaper since there it mainly been features that have been added.-. so its about time there comes a bump in panelbrightness. I also saw Vincent for HDTVtest, state they even bumped down the brightness a tad since 2017 line on scene peak in SDR nd HDR, likely a precaution to prevent perm retention. another thing where 2017 LG OLED line also shined was on response rates... unreal like 80% 0.1ms and 100% 0.2% (source Rtings) thats a lot slower now, likely to circumvent studder on low frame content. another things were also 2017 LG OLED was on the front was user-interface... the 2017 LG OLEDs was the last year with fast bandwith UIs.. like USB3 interface with high power delivery. now it's only USB2 like from the year 2000... and those can bottleneck if you wanna attach a USB SSD and watch high bitrate content from fx stored Bluray movies or bitrate demanding OLED promo vids, not to mention it can be a pain in the ass to use fx bigger mech-hard drives, as USB2 socket are often choking in delivering enough power, and you need to piggyback ride with extra power cables, or if you wanna fx use a third-party TV OS-box that needs 5v.. here USB2 often come short with fx 0.5A limits, while USB3 is usually at least 1A able... same if you wanna use USB docks for multiple units, here you really need at least a USB3 interface. Are 2021 still only with USB2.0.?.. like we have seen in 2018, 2019, 2020.? or are they waking up, and perhaps implementing fx TypeC or at at leastUSB3 standard again. But next year we will likely see the G-panels brightness kaskade down the LG OLED line.

    • @Rasul Avtorhanov most people think Samsung or LG is the best

    • @OmaeWa Mou Shindeiru NANI? naah not really..

  • i love my nanoCeLL!!

  • Catch the CX on sale. I saved $150.00. Could not be happier with it! Paid $1500. taxes included. Word to the wise...I had a C7 and ran it in vivid mode for 3 years. RUINED it. Lesson learned.

  • Our tv is just a normal tv so sana all

  • should i get the brighter oled or qned? 🤔

  • and it'd be awesome if you did digital trends and 1440 60 FPS

  • I love oled but I will never get one because of burn in.

  • Any news on LG CX upgrade to webos 6.0 ? Also need to know whether the remote of 2021 model work with 2020 model?

  • Are the QNED panels still IPS displays?

  • Question, I am looking at the 65 inch CXPUA which is currently on sale in my area for $2,700($200 off) , should I wait for the new 2021 or is this a good deal?

  • It appears that the geniuses in product development over at LG's cell phone division have been transferred over to the television department. And have brought their boneheaded decision making skills with them. From the videos I've seen thus far, LG has made the inexplicable decision to use leg stands at the outer edges of the set. This will eliminate it from purchase consideration by many, including me, who must have a center stand to be able to use it on their Home Theater entertainment console. Way to go LG!

  • TVs no longer costing £100s but thousands . World gone mad

  • Stopped watching after the first minute of just wasting my time.

  • Mannn wish we had a timeframe as to when we could expect them to come out... first quarter, second quarter etc. I need a new tv soon and dont just wanna go out and buy as last years model if the new series is justttt around the corner.

  • When will these TVs be in stores???

  • Brighter OLED means faster Burn-In.

  • No 3D no sale

  • Hi Caleb, great video as usual! I have a dout: you said that QNED will be the fist LG's mini-LED Tv. But I have a 2010 55LEX8 with NANO FULL LED panel... Back that day, LG advertised it as a tiny LED tecnology... Was it the fist step towards micro-LED world? Do you have any information about this?

  • When can we expect these to be available to the UK market?

  • OLED TVs are the best

  • I need the 48 inch A1 as the current 48 Oled is far too expensive.

  • With all the new improved brightness on oled TVs what will the price be not cheap I guess

  • Yea but what’s the price lol

  • Last big nits-bump was 2016 to 2017.. the 2017 year where all LG's OLEDs was same SoC, from low to wallpaper since there it mainly been features that have been added.-. so its about time there comes a bump in panelbrightness. • What the crushed blacks on the CX?? Not good!!

  • is it possible to move the legs close to each other? if you want the tv to stand?

  • LG is stil my favorite TV to use. And their OLEDs are gorgeous. Excited to see the new Mini LEDs and if those will be safer for gaming (burn in) than OLEDs but still look gorgeous enough. Quality problems all this. I mean, I'd be most excited by maintaining the health of our democracy. A nice gaming TV is down the list somewhere...way...down there but still there. ;)

  • Guys, stop talking about burn in. First of all, you buy OLED for movies and games , not to watch the news or tv channels, if you know you watch cable, just buy something else. I have my oled c9 over 1 year now, and it's running everyday between 8 to 10 h, on youtube, netflix and games. After 1 year i tested it, 0 burn in. If i'm listening to music on youtube and it has just a fixed pic i just turn off the screen and listen to music with the screen off, same for radio. OLED doesnt have competition when it comes to picture quality. So dont blame the TV because you are an idiot.

  • Imagine how good re-runs of The Office are gonna look on that $4,000 QNED TV. 😉

  • I'm super happy with my 2-year-old 4K TV. Can't imagine buying a new TV until there's a LOT more -streamable- watchable 4K HDR video

  • “I’ll get to in just a minute “. I hate that. Don’t string me along.

  • I think The QNED (Mini-LED) is the best.

  • I Love your Videos. Its better than the shows of the Companys.

  • Big fan of LG products so looking forward to trying out these products in store

  • I have 65" CX now for 1 month and the first had panel bend and returned it, got new one and this one has bad vertical banding. Picture isn't that great for the price and the firmware problems doesn't make this tv much better either. My advice is that if you really don't have to update the tv and especially old and good oled for another oled just yet then wait for the 2021 models.

  • One thing that most reviewers omit when showing people the latest tvs is that many folk like myself for instance love good sound quality. Obviously, picture quality is the number one priority but c'mon,we do not want to splash out another £300 or £400 on a new soundbar. As far as I'm concerned, picture and sound should be part and parcel of every television, agreed?

  • How much will this 83" OLED launch at. The C1 say. The 88" OLED launched at £30,000 but can be bought for £20,000. Perhaps the 83" will launch at £20,000?

  • Other than the processor and LG dashboard thing, what is the main difference between a 2020 CX and 2021 C1? Is the panel any different whatsoever? I have a LG 49SM9000, so it's basically the top spec LED from 2019 with all the HDR , Dolby vision etc. So I am upgrading to OLED first and foremost, but would like to weigh it up

  • I was looking at getting the LG CX 65 soon. Do you think the price will be going down soon with all these new tv's coming out?

  • Caleb, thanks for the overview of LG's new TV lineup. How soon can we expect hands on review and testing of these TV's? My 10 year old 82 inch Mitsubishi WD-82838 DLP TV can't last forever, and I think one of these 80 inch or bigger LG's will be it's replacement. Keep up the excellent work. You're the BEST!!

  • It’s a new line for LG TVs better than Samsung TVs or maybe the same?

  • If I would make my LED's brighter they would not last as long.

  • Cx is finished going to buy the brighter oled g series

  • The obvious question for me Is, do I buy a CX at the end of the month, or wait for one of the new range?

  • When do you expect the new models to be at retailers?

  • Will the ATSC 3.0 tuner be available on all LG EVO models?

  • Will NVIDIA GeForce Now include their AI upscaling?

  • A new Magic remote is the real news here.

  • When will they release to public and will it be around cx launch price ?

  • My TV is almost 6 years old and I want a new one, your channel has helped me grow my knowledge on a topic I knew absolutely nothing about. I’m leaning OLED 65 inch but not sure witch brand and when to buy it

    • @knuckles1006 I'm thinking about the 2021 model probably around black Friday.

    • LG CX

  • Also do we have any Denon receivers update?

  • Hmm I’m curious has about the new web os, as I have the CX 65” will I get in future firmware?

  • Hey man that’s a pretty nice sweater 👍🏾

  • LG mini-led vs Samsung mini-led, also LG Z series vs LG G series comparison please.

  • Is the scene with the white robot walking with other robots and people...is that from a movie and if so which one?

  • More Harmful blue ray ..what is the point of having a brighter colour....

  • hmm, no mention of burn-in. has it been eliminated?

  • LG QNED gaming Monitors would be nice to have though but I guess it's gonna take a while since the technology is new

  • I’m an LG C9 owner and love it. Sounds exciting for LG

  • Awesome

  • Does lg still make the wallpaper tv?

  • I’m really hoping the price of the CX 65” will go down this year!

    • @Jon Stotts unfortunately I haven’t been able to buy a new console either (stupid bots) but I have a controller and a game 😂. Best of luck on getting a good price and finding a series x! You’ll be happy with the CX. Dolby Vision is a game changer and the pq on the CX is phenomenal.

    • @Dirt Therapy That’s what I’ve been hoping for! As soon as February would be awesome! I almost bought at $1800 but I held off hoping for a price drop in 2021 and also considering I still haven’t snagged a series X.

    • @Jon Stotts the reason I asked is I wanted to give you a gauge for the price considering I purchased mine for $ 1,800 on a pre-black Friday sale. So that being said I’m almost certain the price will drop to between $ 1,300 - $ 1,500 around early February.

    • Well I’m hoping it goes down below $1800 like it was on Black Friday.

    • To what price?

  • The prickly clover intriguinly twist because flax concordantly bless amidst a invincible activity. lush, wrong moustache

  • a bunch of simulated picture footage, why? it serves no purpose unless you are sponsored by that manufacturer.

  • yesw

  • Brighter, which in other words burn in faster...... Great where do I sign up at?

  • super interested in the QNED line. As someone that took a chance on OLED and literally got burned (quite a bit of burn in on my C7 panel) I won't be revisiting OLED technology. This QNED line might be what I'm looking for to tide me over until microLED tech is affordable.

  • It's 2021 and yet still no rechargeable remote. 😥

  • Samsung!

  • LG increased ther OLED BURN-IN feature so it burns in images faster!

  • Could I buy the new remote for my LG GX??? That remote looks like it’d feel better to hold than the current one.

  • I just ordered cx... Looks like i Need to cancel it and wait for the 2021 Version

  • Just got a CX coming this week couldn’t see me paying more for the latest one, wondered if this new layout software will come to our older sets .?

  • Have they solve the burn in image problems

  • Still waiting for OLED without burn-in or vertical banding. Asking too much? If so, non-OLED needs to match OLED black levels, color accuracy, contrast, AND viewing angle. All I'm asking for is total perfection :-)

  • Wow webos looks trash. Why even call it webos. It looks just as ugly we TCL interface they should just hire TCL or Vizio to make their UI

  • Yes. I’m impressed with the hair. Looks decent now

  • So I guess I'm gonna wait and buy a new G-series for the extra brightness. I'm wondering how expensive it'll be though...

  • I just bought lg 55CX but i had to see what's new in oled world 😁

  • I am still Happy with my LG E8 😅

  • Fix your vertical banding before you boost anything LG

  • That 83" OLED C line 4k tv definitely sounds perfect for me. I got a 77 inch C9 and love it, but wish it would have been a bit bigger to cover my wall next to my built in wall book shelves where all my movie library is at. Now is my chance to get one.

  • i just hate LG OS and that's why i always buy Sony. but in 2021 i might go with LG. They have cheaper prices than Sony and has done a very good job with their OLEDs, but im still not gonna spend 2500$ for a tv (LG 65CX). And it has to minimum be 65", i have a 55" and i regretted not buying 65" ever since i mounted it on the wall.

    • @Bryan De La Cruz I can afford one, but I would still not pay 2500$ for a TV.

    • This is not for you then . You need $$$

  • Nicely done video, thanks for the update Caleb

  • Will the older model C9 and 10 get a webOS software update?

  • sry for the moodkiller but look up b117 and there is a new virus in 2021 WOW ALSOLOTLY FANTASTIC

  • I wouldn't say impressed yet but I am glad I returned my CX and decided to wait until 2021 for a new tv.

  • Please tell me: Who has the best QNED Local Dimming???? LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL? And I mean: decent black levels, no LED flickering, and the smallest glow affect... For trolls: Not everyone can be rich like you and by OLEDs! There are poor people too...

  • This guy is the man!

  • Somewhat impressed but lg better nail it with there qned tvs and stop focusing on oled

  • So Samsung vs LG vs Sony which wins this year?

  • I'm still waiting on micro led tvs

  • Micro led seems to be the best so far!

  • They’re upping their game on the G series... and every channel that reviews it has to get past the whole “wall mount / no stand included” hurdle.

  • I bet it won’t be particularly that much brighter. I recently purchased a 77GX. It was brighter than my E6. The gaming function of the new range seem more marketing than anything new. I’m not bothered I didn’t wait. I would still go for a CX/GX over these models based on the price.

  • No release date and no prices so basically the important information has not been provided, all that's been said is what we already knew months ago.

  • I just got a CX about a week ago, still have a chance to return it before Friday. Is it worth doing so or will I have to pay more and wait longer for this. Also open to alternatives saw TCL came out with new news as well. The most important feature to me is MINIMAL response time/input lag comparable to PC monitors.

  • I feel like we shouldn't like the video past 4K likes..... anyone else...?

  • Hi Caleb, so the CX models of LG getting a big price drop wen the new models are coming out. What do you think is the price of a CX10 65” going to be? Love your vids 👍🏼

  • Make a comparisment between CX and C1 series video, it's seems the same tv for me
